Today's a sunny day, and after Friday I will go home to spend the weekend with parents. In traditional culture, this week is a great time to climb the mountains, then stand at high places, missing or sending wishes to our families and friends at another end of the world. This may sound very strange. In ancient oriental culture, people have found the September, which could also be counted as the first month of autumn, has great weather. Right after the hot summer, you can't find better days to do some exercises outside. I also love climbing mountains, and when we are at top of a place, together with the blue sky and white clouds, seems our mind's widened too.

So this weekend is a family get-together. I already got a bottle of good wine for my father as a little gift, and really miss the delicious homemade dishes.

Sweet Rabbit and White Zentai Suit

I have known a little bit about kigurumi, mascot and fursuits too, which are related with zentai suits more or less. Today I have found this sweet rabbit, dressed up in a floor length dress and white mask, and from my understanding, just the hand reveals there's a white zentai suit worn to create the base. The summer's passed and with the cool breeze from new season, maybe I could really consider to wear something like this too?

Water Issue Local

Today there's news about the water issue in a city nearby, where I had spent about four years studying as my college's there. There's a wide water flowing across the city, and it's one of the main sources of the water supply in the city. Recently there are lot of storms so by accident, some un-handled materials from a chemical factory flew into the river. After noticing that, there is agency closely watching the condition of the water and from yesterday, the material finally caught the city. Although there are well conveyed news about it, people have rushed into the supermarkets so the water has quickly sold out.

Running a factory is enjoying more social resources and get more profit, on the other hand, this means much higher responsibility. Even a small mistake, or unpurposely made behavior, could influence so much, or make severe damage to our environment.

Taking the zentai suits factories for example, all the steps, from the weavon of the lycra or shiny cloth, to the tailor, quality check, need to be repeatedly checked and improved, to save the energy, and make best use of all the materials involved. This could also lower the expense for the zentai costumes, and provide more choices to customers.

Morphsuits?

Blue Lycra Spandex Zentai Suit

I have added the morphsuits into the tag for my blog, and besides the general meaning of the skin-tight encased bodysuits, there's a brand also used this name, just with the first letter capital. I have to say, I am not doing any promotion for that brand.

Personally, that brand is not my cup of tea, because it's very expensive compared with other zentai suits I could find, and even worse, they have the logo at the back. That would fright me away. I could understand if there's logo somewhere at the costumes I get, such as the sports costumes I get at Nike or Adidas, but most of the time their logos are embedded into the camouflage in a more natural and decent way.

For zentai suits, due to the nature of them, attach a camouflage anywhere will be very obvious, unless the image is exactly the same color as the suit itself. The zentai outfits always come with the original designs, and if there's any logos required, I think it's best to seam it in the label, then hidden inside.

If you think I am one who loves unicolor zentai only, that's not true. I love some suits with the multiple colors, or camouflage. If the outfit's coming with a logo with other meaning, such as promotion of a brand, then it leaves me only one choice.

Delicate Masks for Zentai Suits

To create beautiful and unique zentai suits photos, some accessories could be big help, besides the creative and good looking outfits. Among these, masks should be one useful component, but it's hard to get good ones. This idea may come from the kigurumi, as the kigurumi is to wear the zentai suits, then mask and the cosplay costumes. Then it just came to my min that if only zentai suits and masks, based on the colors and the design of the masks, there also could be excellent works. Then I have seen some very good quality masks photos. It's a pity that just like the kigurumi masks, it's not easy to get a good one. Lucky, there are still some simple and low quality masks, which we could get at a relative low price. Attach a photo of the elegant Venice mask.

Mask, Wigs and Chain on White Lycra Zentai Suit

The second photo's a taken, after encased in a white lycra zentai outfit, then wear the black bustier with the silver buttons and chain. The same white color mask and long wig, has created a very strong impression.

How Many Zippers One Zentai Suit Could Have?

For full body zentai suits, zipper is an necessary accessory. As the best way to seal the costumes and burden the possible shrink or stretch, most zipper's located vertically at back of the suit, and length's from head to end of back. This zipper allows you to go in and out of the suit easily, and get you fully encased.

Except this very basic long zipper, we could add other zippers into the suit for other functions, or for personal preference. The most practical zipper should be the crotch zipper, which saves us the trouble when we are in a suit. For easiness of enjoying the zentai outfit, many people select a suit with removable hood, and if the hood could be connected with the suit by a hidden zipper, it will be easy to take on and off. Other than these two, for better visual sights, some people would order suit with the eye holes, but this means it can't be full body zentai suits, so use two short zippers for eyes seem a better choice. Also, if you want to enjoy some drinks while in your comfortable zentai costume, a mouth zipper could help a lot.

Some zentai suits are used for performance, or for game play. For some magical effects, the gloves and socks could be connected with zippers, and put off to show the inside. Some people love to have chest and belly zippers, located horizontal at front. Sometimes people wear two or three layers of zentai suits, and take off the first one or two layers, could make the cool combination of "black body" and "white hands and legs".

Right now most zippers are delicate tailored onto the zentai costume, and hidden well. Unless it's revealed for some purposes, it's hard to see how many zippers one zentai suit has, and where they are located.

My Zentai Fantasies: Tailor My Own Zentai Suits

Falling into love with zentai suits for this long time, all of my zentai suits are bought from zentai shops. Therefore my suits are all styles, colors or camouflage which are produced in bulk. Not only this, there are some beautiful camouflage I have seen from other artists' photos, and when I search for them in these stores, the answer's generally no. They told me for zentai outfits like the spiderman and costumes, each style they develop, need to be produced in large quantity, to ensure the affordable price for each zentai or cosplay lover for the suit, or it would be too expensive, to develop one kind of zentai suit and tailor one only. Especially for suits like spiderman and superhero

Then I picked a few cloth materials photos and showed them, and ask them whether they could tailor a zentai suit for me using these cloth materials. The first one I have picked is an ocean blue cloth, with the beautiful fishnet camouflage. But it's a pity although the seller helped, they couldn't find the cloth at their market. My guess is, it will be a waste for them to just spend so much time and look for only one suit's cloth.

Then I bought the cloth at my local store, and shipped to them, and they tailored the suit for me, then ship back. I finally get the unique suit, but I spent money for the cloth, and the tailor fee is even higher than just buy one directly, and I also spent two shipping fees.

So my next zentai fantasy, is to practice and get able to tailor the zentai suits by my own. I am beginning to practice now first by changing my exist zentai suits here and there, such as cut a hole, then put in another lycra spandex to make it up, to compose some simple camouflage at my unicolor zentai suits. It's hard for me as I don't have much needle experience. But as long as I have spare time, I will keep trying.
